My Dell Printer wont recognize my color ink cartridge? PLZ HELP?

Does anyone know why this is happening or if you have any tricks i can use to make it recognize it?The cartridge is brand new. So its full of ink.
The printer is a Dell photo 926.
I keep putting it in and its just not taking it.
Im getting very frustrated. PLEASE HELP!

Some things to try:
1. did you remove the protective plastic that often covers the chip?
2. try unplugging your printer from the electric outlet — sometime this will reset it.
3. go to your control panel > printers and see the diagnostic info in there.
4. Make sure you have the correct cartridge model for your specific printer.
5. contact the retailer that sold you the cartridges. If none of the above work, then it’s probably defective.

What kind of ink does a canon pixma mp210 take?

i just bought ink, PG-30 and CL-31, is this correct? i cannot seem to get it to stay put in the cartridge holder. any help is appreciated.

Those are the correct cartridges. Another option are PG40 and CL41.

Check if there’s nothing broken in the ink carriage. Push cartridge fordward to the carriage until you hear a click.

Where are the best places online to purchase discounted printer cartridges?

I’m sure there are a ton, but the only one I’ve heard of myself is inkbarn.com. Are there any others out there, and is their pricing really cheaper than buying the ink cartridges from Wal-Mart or Staples? Also, do you know if it’s a secure web site? Thanks!

How are inkjet cartridges re- manufactured?

My question applies to non chipped cartridges, I was wondering if they just replace the foam and flush out the cartridge or is there more to it than that??

chemical rinse, take out foam, replace, refill and reseal.

Can I refill my lexmark ink cartridge with ink from an HP cartridge? Color and/or black? And how?

I have 2 full color and black cartridges to a busted printer..why waste?

Don’t refill your ink cartridges, the printer can not recognize the ink levels.
If you want to save time and money, you can use new compatible or remanufactured ink cartridges. They are cheap and reliable.

Can any one help? The printer ink cartridges is very expensive and can only print a small quantity of pages.
Is the refill work? how to get it ?

It’s better to buy a Canon or Epson Printer, they have the low cost ink, and the cartridge could also be refilled, just make sure that the printer heads is in the cartridge it self, there are some printer who uses this type of cartridge, CANON is the best i can advice to you.
Don’t try HP or LEXMARK, there price are really expensive, and refilling it’s cartridge is not advisable.

I ordered from one of these companies that does cheap ink cartridges (but they are not manufacturer cartridges). This is an Amazon reseller I got it from so they have to be reputable right? I put the cartridges in there and they just do not print at all. I have wasted tons of paper…and it i just prints blank…what is the deal? I have a Canon Pixma MP750

Amazon’s reseller program has some serious flaws. While they do encourage customers to rate the merchants, I personally don’t get the sense that Amazon has very strict (or any) inclusion standards. I would contact the merchant via Amazon’s dispute resolution system and contest the charge. They should be able to reverse it for you. I am interested in buying empty HP {Only} inkjet cartridges – they need to be HP OEM’s – NOT Remanufactured.

I would prefer a larger retailer / supplier, that would have access to many of the empty inkjet cartridges HP makes.

Besides E-Bay, would there be a good online place to go?

Okay, I have several inkjet printers, all the same kind. I’m keeping the best working one, but I need to get rid of the other printers. I want to keep the ink to use for the best printer (it’s all still good ink). How do I store it to keep it from… going bad?

I keep in a zip lock in my bottom desk drawer. It does not get banged around and it stays in a cool dark place.
