For the past 6 years I used a canon inkjet printer which used 1 cartridge for each color. If one color ran out, I would only have to replace that color.
They no longer make this type of printer and I can’t find one anywhere, ebay etc..
What printer won’t empty my pockets paying for in?
Thanks for any help!
The ink isn’t going to be cheap, regardless of which printer you get. You may be able to take your old cartridges to one of the places that refills them…much cheaper than new cartridges.

i have LC51BK cartridges and the closest place to my home carries hp cartridges. want to know if compatible
I would think not. Brands are not universal in their cartridges. I would buy online if you can’t find it in the store. I like 123inkjets.com as it’s affordable and they are always running some kind of special.

I cant stand our little ink jet printer. You print one page, and 10 percent of the ink is gone. I have a black and white HP laserjet printer, and it is VERY efficient. You can print over 1000 pages before you need to change the toner.
So, if I bought a color laserjet, how many pages do you think I could print before the toner went out.
thousands of pages. Laser printers are very cost-effective for printing. They’re just not as versatile as ink jets

I have several old hp 45 cartridges lying around the house and I was wanting to get a printer that used them. I currently have a Deskjet 722C, but I am unable to find ANY websites that sell that model. I REALLY like the fact that you can easily refill the 45 cartridge MANY times and STILL get good quality printing (unlike what HP says, which is all lies) Also, the 45 cartridges are twice as big as the "new" cartridges, but they are able to print up to 4 TIMES as many pages per cartridge. Apperantly, the old line of deskjets that used the 45 cartridges were too reliable and too economical for HP, so they discontnued them. Appearantly HP prefers using tiny cartridges so they can make a killer off of people who are CONSTANTLY having to buy new cartridges.
Let me clarify my question a little. I was wondering if anyone knew of a website, (besides eBay and Craig’s list) that sold any of the printers mentioned below that are compatible with the 45 cartridge. I have tried unsuccessfully to find ANY website that will sell one of the printers, (used OR new)

I’d like to know how many full black and white pictures I can print with a brand new Lexmark Black 14 ink cartridge. I wanted to print a few pictures with but I don’t want to use up all my ink. So, how many pictures do you think I can print with this brand new cartridge? Thanks and God bless! <3
Probably a hundred or so but I’m not sure. You can buy a dedicated printer for printing or go to Walmart to print them from a zip/thumb drive as they are not expensive when you consider the price of ink.

I’ve been on the hunt for an all-in-one to replace my office’s current HP (slow as hell, error-ific) 7210. I have done just about as much research as I can stand at this point and have narrowed it down to a 639 dollar Lexmark x502n and a 250 dollar Cannon PIXMA MP830. Besides the obvious difference being the hundreds of dollars more for the Lexmark, one is also a laser, and the other an inkjet. I’ve been thinking I need a laser because speed copying is what we are most interested in, though I’m not as familiar with lasers and worry about the initial cost combined with the cost of toner cartridges. The main uses of this machine will be for copying and faxing. It most likely won’t be connected to any pc and will not likely be printing photos. We copy pictures out of books and copy documents. Laser or Inkjet? Which will benefit me longterm.
Laser printers generally produce much better quality print. The initial cost is, as you have pointed out much higher. The cost per page on the other hand, tends to be significantly lower with a laser printer.
You will probably never use the printer enough to make up for the cost difference.
Also, know that most color laser printers print tracking codes on all of your paper, and this CANNOT be turned off. IMHO, this is the best reason to use an inkjet printer. http://www.eff.org/Privacy/printers/wp.php

i try to scan the fluorescent colour item and adjusted to the brightest level using photoshop software it still doesnt work.
is it possible to do such thing in home pc inkjet printer ?
hi , can you tell which printer model i can do that ?
thanx.
You will need a "professional" printer to do this. Most personal printers only have black, blue, yellow and red. Not the intensity you need to print "Fluorescent" colors.
**Update**
You would have to use a printer press. Printer presses use "Spot Color".

There are many stores that sells bottled ink for EPSON, CANON and other popular printer brands.
Where in MetroManila can we buy refill ink ( in bottles ) used by LEXMARK printers ?
You can get those at stores at CyberZone 4th Floor, Bldg-B SM-Megamall and at other SM malls as well.
BTW, the refill ink is generally the same, the difference is the instructions provided with the kit. The easiest way is to go to one of those places that do the refill for you and watch to see if there is anything special about the process.

I need to buy a color inkjet printer for printing out a lot of study materials.
I think "heavy duty" and "cost-efficient" are the key words. I want to keep it under $100 for the machine and the cartridges definitely as cheap as you can get on the market.
I’ll do some research myself too. But thank you for helping!
as far as cost goes, I have bought a lot of printers from Goodwill that worked (and a cupl didnt) – usually for around $10 – ink ran even more than that but if all you will do is black and white printing, just a very basic printer will work – however, if you have vista installed as an OS, beware because a lot of printers are not compatible with vista yet – the most efficient one in my opinion for brand wud be epson – model duznt matter as long as you can afford the ink and paper
